No cards, no board, no phone: just friends sitting in a circle. They work as group games at camp or in class too. Here are 12 classic games we picked, grouped by style, each with short rules you can read and play straight away.
In the Multiludo app

All 12 of these are King's Cup mini-games: draw a card and the app shows its rules right away, no reading up game by game. Swap the mini-game on any card, or write your group's own rules.
Before you start, agree on a punishment for the group, like dancing for 10 seconds or singing a chorus in a duck voice: whoever loses takes it.
Word and memory games
Think fast, talk fast, remember everything. First to slip loses.

Repeat every word, then add one with the same first letter — slip up and you're punished
The starter picks a letter and says a word; each next person repeats all the words so far in order, then adds a new one starting with the same letter. Wrong order, a dropped word, or too slow is punished.
Count on; on 7 or a multiple of 7 say up and reverse — miss it and you're punished
Take turns counting up, but on any number ending in 7 or divisible by 7 say "up" instead — which reverses the direction. A wrong number, too slow, or a missed "up" is punished.
The starter is question master — answer them plainly and you're punished
The starter is the "question master": if they ask you anything (anytime) and you answer plainly instead of firing a question back, you're punished. It ends once one person has been caught.
Stay sharp the whole time. One lapse and you are caught.
A
007 bang
Point and say 0-0-7-bang; the one shot crosses arms, neighbors' hands fly up — slowest is punished
The starter points a finger-gun at anyone and says "0"; each person points on and says the next word of 0-0-7-bang. On "bang!" the one pointed at crosses their arms while the players on their left and right throw their hands up. Slowest or wrong is punished.
Keep a hand flat on the table until the starter says you can lift it — lift it early and you're punished
The starter has everyone lay one hand flat on the table, then play carries on as normal; it must stay there until the starter says to lift it. Lift your hand off first and you're punished.
The starter picks a number from 1-10000 — take turns guessing; whoever gets it is safe, the rest are punished
The starter secretly picks a number from 1 to 10000. Starting with the next player, everyone takes turns guessing one number each; the starter may only answer "too low", "too high", or "correct". Whoever guesses it is safe; everyone else (except the starter) is punished.
